After completing my photography studies at Dawson and gaining years of experience in marketing, I came to the realization that the traditional 9 to 5 agency lifestyle was not for me.

In 2019, I fell in love with doing my nails as a hobby. I’ve always been drawn to anything creative so naturally, doing them regularly quickly turned into a passion.

It all became real when my hobby became a full-time endeavour in 2020. I dedicated all my free time to doing nails, educating myself and developing my own style.

Here I am now, a full-time nail artist since February 2021, specializing in nail art and loving every minute of it. I love collaborating with clients to bring designs to life and make them feel like their best selves.

I’m obsessed with nail health which is why I only use non-toxic gel products for myself and my clients. 

When not in the studio, you’ll probably find me hanging out at home watching movies with my cats, making music, or eating something delish.

After having my nails over filled, ripped off, and left completely brittle and destroyed for years, I decided to take things into my own hands.

I completed the Aesthetics course from Academy Edith Serei in 2019 before deciding to focus entirely on my passion for doing nails

Natural nail health is very important to me. I work to minimize damage and create a strong and healthy base underneath all enhancements I add. Creating and sharing art has always been the most fulfilling aspect of being a nail artist - especially when it also promotes healthy nail growth and self care.

My love for nail art, especially 3D and abstract designs, is what drives me. Creating fresh and complex designs that spark joy is my number one goal. I strive for every single client to be able to look down at their hands and be in awe of original designs that emphasize and enhance the beautiful natural nails they already have. 

While away from my nail file, you’ll find me dancing, creating and hanging out with my doggos.

Kayla Wells, Co-Founder & Nail, Lash, Brow Artist

The Anglo import from British Columbia! After studying design in Vancouver from 2012-2014, I quickly realized that the traditional academic structure wasn't for me and turned to a lifestyle full of art and empowerment.

I worked in hospitality for most of my early twenties, nourishing a passion for food and wine culture that plays an important role in my life.

In 2017, I started selective aesthetic training and am now a fully certified lash, brow and nail technician with an attention to detail that is unrivalled.

Aesthetics, for me, is about building trusting, long-term relationships with my clients. Any time that someone leaves my chair projecting more confidence than when they sat down, I feel that I’ve succeeded in my job.

My time out of the studio is spent almost exclusively cooking and cuddling my dog Louis (don’t worry, you’ll probably meet him). You can also find me anywhere with sun rays to soak up.

Daniela Rosario Serrano, Nail Artist

From an early age, my mother and I had a ritual on Thursday evenings of doing our nails together while watching a film.

At the end of high school, I went to CEGEP to study arts, literature and communication, with a language major. 

I loved my program but soon realized that I didn't understand why I wasn't making art with my own hands. 

Shortly afterwards, I enrolled in an aesthetics course and fell in love with the field. For me, the artistic side was the one that interested me most. I worked as a nail technician for 4 and a half years in a salon, where I learned many techniques and was able to blossom in this job.

I love doing 3D with gel, doing animal prints and seeing my customers come up with creative and colourful ideas. 

When I'm not at work, I'm probably hanging out with my cat Mini or having a glass of wine with my friends/family.

Maya Nayeli Martinez, Nail Artist

Hi, my name is Maya, and I've been a Nail Artist since 2020. I specialize in natural nail manicures, and clean and sleek cuticles are my thing.

I began doing nails at home just before the pandemic and had the opportunity to practice extensively during that time. I worked from home for 2 years before joining Le Manoir for another 2 years. I learned a lot at this salon, which helped me excel in the industry. I'm meticulous and a perfectionist at heart. I love doing nail art and challenging myself by always learning something new. I mostly use Gelcare, which is a 10-free gel line.

I love colorful nails and fun designs but still appreciate a classy and refined set. My favorite thing to do is to mix the two styles to create a timeless look with a touch of creativity.

In my free time, I enjoy scrolling on Pinterest, engaging in fun activities with my girlfriends, and cooking with my boyfriend. I like to think that I am a pretty good cook.

Growing up, I remember watching my mom spending endless hours in the salon getting her hair and nails done with friends. I remember being a young child playing with all of the polish and admiring the spectrum of beautiful colours.

I started painting my own nails at the age of 14, which meant spending hours in Winners picking out packs of nail polish, bingeing Youtube tutorials on nail designs and losing myself in the peace and ease that came with creating art.

After being diagnosed with ASD (autistic spectrum disorder) in 2022, I decided to move away from standard career expectations and instead follow the artistic path of doing nails, which had brought me so much solace in the past. Mental health is extremely important to me, which is why I want to ensure that everyone feels safe and comfortable when sitting in my chair. 

I’ve spent a lot of time refining my technique and knowledge to ensure that my clients always leave loving their nails. I specialize in freestyle and character nail art and my love for anime and cartoons is reflected throughout my work. Additionally, nail health is a top priority for me, and I only use the best and safest products on the market.

When not doing nails, find me crocheting for my brand, watching anime or family guy (I love dark humour), baking some yummy sweets or cuddling my huge American Bully who thinks he’s a poodle.

I have always been creative deep down, but was too much of a perfectionist to even dare start building with my own hands. Never imagined I would be where I am today.

I studied engineering, then marketing, before landing on giving you dreamy nails.

I have been doing nails for the past 3 years.My clients say that I am meticulous, and my friends say I am composed.

For now, I am only working with gel on natural nails.

Stephanie Guida, Nail Artist

My background in Fine Arts and Makeup sparked a passion for aesthetics and art, so when I started doing nails in 2015 it clicked that it was the perfect career. I haven't looked back since!

I'm known for my femme art style. I love playing with glitters and shimmers, yet my greatest love is for shaping. Nothing is more satisfying to me than a smooth surface, seamless cuticle and flawless apex. 

When I'm not slaying nails, find me gardening, making traditional Italian food, or playing cozy games. When I'm out on the town you'll probably find me having cocktails at a burlesque club.
